Started in 1952, the Diliman Review draws its contributors mainly from its pool of UP scholars, creative writers, and artists. It also welcomes critical essays, creative works, reviews, forum/symposium papers from other scholars and artists outside the university or outside the country. In April 2005, the journal shifted from magazine form to the now book form. The new look of Diliman Review is a signifier of its new nature. It is now a refereed journal whose Board of Evaluators is composed of the most noted specialists in their respective fields of scholarship and/or creative writing.
