Ang Pagtataman ng Nasyunalismo sa Panulat ni Amado V. Hernandez at Bienvenido L. Lumbera at ang Diskursong Postkolonyal

Abstract

This paper discusses its central argument that the nationalist and radical social critique  of the national democratic social movement continues to be relevant in the Philippines. Hernandez’s and Lumbera’s discourse  are positioned in  this critique.  In the present debate among intellectuals  who espouse  the  postcolonial critique of ideology, and those who oppose it, the writings of Hernandez and Lumbera continue to be relevant to Philippine conditions  in the ongoing struggle against imperialism in its present form.
