Banwaan: The Philippine Journal of Folklore is the peer-reviewed academic journal of the Folklore Studies Program of the UP College of Social Sciences and Philosophy. The journal aims to provide a space for scholars working on folklore to exchange ideas, methodologies, and research findings. Recognizing the multidisciplinary nature of folkloristics, the journal welcomes articles from various disciplines. Beginning 2022, issues will be published every June and December.
