Lapnos Mula Sa Logos

Abstract

The suite of poems “Lapnos mula sa Logos” is an attempt to translate the Greek principle logos into poetry and the eternal search for the absolute truth, as the truth we know may not be the absolute one. Each poem revolves around—if not, has an element of—fire, which follows Heraclitus’s philosophy where everything is made of fire; fire is the symbol of metamorphosis, and everything metamorphoses from fire. The suite is also a part of a project that I am still working on for a couple of years now.
