Hinga, Hikbi... Sigaw!

Abstract

"Hinga, Hikbi... Sigaw!" echoes the daily toils of common women as they juggle multiple responsibilities and different roles as wife, mother, and homemaker. It mirrors the harsh truth of devalued domestic labor, oftentimes punctuated by domestic violence.
Women do roll with the punches - figuratively and literally. As they struggle to move out of their own domestic space, they find other women sharing their own experiences and they gain a new-found strength: strength in solidarity, strength in standing for one's self, strength in saying no to violence.
Para maluwag na makahinga, kailangang tumigil na sa paghikbi at sumigaw...sumigaw patungong pagbabago.
