Alternative Dispute Resolution in the USA

Abstract

This paper provided an overview of the different methods of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) that exist in the United States of America and their application to Industrial Relations via Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service. It is hoped that this overview will help build the readers' interest concerning the institutional, legal and public policy framework that is most appropriate for the successful delivery of governmental mediation services in their respective nations.
