Pambansang Wika Tungo sa Pambansang Ekonomiya

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Mahalaga na lubos na maintindihan ng mga mamamayan ang ekonomiks sapagkat may kinalaman ito sa sistemang pangkabuhayan at pamumuhay ng bawat Pilipino. Dapat na sila’y mulat dito upang intelehente silang makalahok sa mga pagpapasyang may epekto sa kanilang pamumuhay.

Ang pagiging ‘malayo’ ng mga karaniwang Pilipino sa kaalaman sa ekonomiks ay may koneksyon sa suliranin sa pag-unawa dito bunga ng ating problema sa wika—na pinagdedebatihan pa kung alin ang  tunay na karapatdapat na gamitin.

May mga salik na maaring isaalang-alang para sa salin o kaya ay para sa  pagbubuo ng sariling kaalaman sa larangan ng ekonomiks sa bansa tulad ng:    (1) Pag-aral sa  kasaysayan ng ekonomiya at pangkabuhayan ng Pilipinas, (2) Pagsasaayos nito para maging halimbawa ayon sa balangkas ng teorya ng ekonomiks upang magkaroon ng mapagkakatiwalaang teksto, (3) Pagbuo ng kapulungang mangangasiwa sa pagbubuo, at (5) Paglalapit ng  wika ng kaalaman / sa ekonomiks sa wika ng karaniwang mamayang Pilipino.

ABSTRACT

It is invaluable for the Filipino people to understand economics because it plays a role in their systems of livelihood and ways of life. They must be educated about it so that they can intelligently involve themselves in making decisions that will affect their lives.                   

The notion that knowledge of economics is far removed from ordinary citizens has to do with the problem of comprehension stemming from a problem of language — two terms still caught in an ongoing debate about which one ought to be used.

There are elements to consider for the translation or the construction of our  knowledge base on the field of economics in the Philippines, such as (1) the study of the history of economics and livelihood in the Philippines; (2) the structuring of the study to serve as an example that is aligned with a framework of economic theory, in order to have a solid and reliable text; (3) the establishment of a commission that will manage the construction of such a knowledge base; and (5) the process of closing the gap between the language of economics and the language of the ordinary Filipino  people.
